Frequently Asked Questions
Q.Does the bounce house or water slide price include set up and delivery?
A.The prices listed for all bounce houses, water slides, and obstacle courses include the delivery and set up costs. There are no hidden fees. The only thing not included in the price is required state tax.
Q.Do you deliver to other cities other than Myrtle Beach?
A.At this time, we service all of Horry County. This includes Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside, Little River, Conway, Murrells Inlet, Socastee, Longs, Loris, and Aynor. While we look forward to servicing other cities in the future, our current licensing only allows within a certain limit.
Q.How long do we have the bounce house or water slide rental for?
A.Our standard policy is that we deliver our bounce houses between 7 and 12 the morning of your event and pickup between 6 and 10 that evening. While we do try to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee drop off and pick up times. Typically, your bounce house or water slide rental will last a minimum of 6 hours.
Q.When do you set up the bounce house?
A.We deliver bounce houses and water slides between 7 and 12 the morning of your event.
Q.We've rented some really dirty bounce houses from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
A.No. The bounce house and/or water slides should be clean once fully set up for your party. Cloud Jumpers Inflatables cleans and disinfects our bounce houses and water slides after every rental.
Q.Do we have to keep it the bounce house or water slide plugged in the entire time?
A.Yes. A blower keeps air in the bounce house and/or water slide the entire time. Once unplugged the bounce houses will deflate. That's why we require an electrical outlet within 50 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Q.What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
A.We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We do not offer generator rentals at this time but most local rental companies are able to provide reasonable rentals.
Q.What type of payments do you take to rent a bounce house?
A.When renting a bounce house or water slide, we accept all major credit/debit cards as well as cash. We do require a 50% deposit upon booking the bounce house that is mandatory however, the remaining amount can be paid as late as when we arrive for delivery the day of your party.
Q.What if we need to cancel our bounce house rental?
A.You have from the time you book until 2 days prior to your event/party to cancel and receive a full refund. If you cancel within 2 days of your event, you forfeit your deposit. We do allow you to reschedule once within the same calendar year, but the cancellation policy applies to the original date.
Q.Do you require a deposit to reserve a bounce house?
A.Yes, we do require 50% down in order to book your bounce house and/or water slide.
Q.How big are the bounce houses?
A.All of our standard bounce houses are 15'x15' which is a little bigger than many companies rent. Please note the space required for each bounce house (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Bounce houses need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the bounce house. The sizes listed with each bounce house include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
Q.What about the big bounce houses or water slides? Any special requirements?
A.Check the requirements listed with each bounce house and/or water slide. Also, make sure you have at least 4 feet of access to the area where the bounce house or water slide will be set up. The bounce houses and/or water slides can weigh up to 800 pounds; so we need a clear path with ample room.
Q.What surfaces do you set up on?
A.We can set up bounce houses and water slides on grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up bounce houses or water slides on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the tarps and the vinyl. If you do plan on having us set the bounce house on concrete or asphalt, please advise us ahead of time so we can prepare with adequate amounts of sand bags.
Q.Can we see a copy of your party rental contract and safety rules?
A.Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Q.Are we responsible for the bounce house or water slide if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A.Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our bounce houses and water slides. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens, please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs to a bounce house or water slide due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
